Our plating is built to last, and these habits are what make the difference between a year and several.
Everyday
Two rules cover most of it.
- Put jewellery on last, after perfume, moisturiser and hairspray have dried.
- Take it off first, before you sleep, swim or work out heavily.
Cleaning
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. If it needs more, use lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, rinse and dry completely before storing.
Never use toothpaste, baking soda, silver dip or an ultrasonic cleaner. All of them strip plating.
Storage
Dry, dark and separate. The pouch your order arrives in is there for this — pieces rubbing together in a dish is the fastest way to scratch a finish.
Avoid
Chlorine, salt water, harsh cleaning products, and leaving pieces in a humid bathroom.
