Privacy policy
We collect the information needed to run and improve the store and measure advertising. This page describes what that means in practice.
What we collect
Only what a purchase and an account require.
- Contact details: your email address, and your phone number if you give one.
- Delivery details: the billing and shipping addresses on your orders.
- Order history: what you bought, when, and its status.
- Account details: your password, if you create one, stored only as a hash we cannot reverse.
- Google sign-in: your stable Google account identifier, verified email address, and name when you choose Continue with Google.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up for it.
- Usage information: pages and products viewed, visit times, referrer and browser details. If you are signed in, these visits are linked to your account so we can understand the customer journey.
What we do not collect
We never see or store your card number, UPI ID or bank credentials. Payment happens on Razorpay's systems; we receive only a payment reference and whether it succeeded.
Cookies
Essential cookies remember your bag, saved items and signed-in session. They are required for the store to work.
Aurnelia stores a first-party visit identifier in your browser session and records page and product visits on our own systems. It is used for traffic totals, live visitor counts and customer journey reporting.
Meta advertising tools use cookies and similar identifiers to measure visits, product activity and purchases, improve attribution, and build advertising audiences. Contact details such as an email address or phone number may be normalised and hashed before Meta uses them for account matching.
Who else sees your data
We use the following providers to operate the store and measure advertising.
- Razorpay, to take payment.
- Our delivery partners, to get the parcel to your address.
- Google Identity Services, only when you choose Continue with Google, to authenticate your account. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts or other Google services.
- Meta, for advertising measurement, attribution and audience matching.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Everything else is deleted when you ask us to.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings.
Write to us to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or to close your account. Newsletter emails can be stopped at any time by replying to one.
